I am taking part in the Koola Art Space & Gallery's window exhibition called Blue(s). Welcome to take a look at the exhibition!
Through drawing, I enjoy exploring the possibilities of the mind, touched with delightful curiosity and sweet playfulness. Beneath my work lies a desire to connect with consciousness, mind, and things beyond language. Dreams, the subconscious, imagination. Connection with nature and the precious creatures and plants of this planet. Treasures seen and unseen.

Artist in Residence at Circolo Scandinavo,
Rome, Italy
I will be an artist in residence at Circolo Scandinavo through Kuvittajat ry (the Finnish Illustration Association). During the residency, I will continue working on an illustration project exploring themes of acedia and melancholy, inspired by art history, ancient creatures, guiding figures, dreams, fantasy, and the subconscious. Rome offers a fantastic environment for exploring these themes.
Alongside my artistic practice, I am also studying horticulture with a focus on floral design, and discovering the city's historical gardens will be another source of inspiration during my residency.

Baltic Sea Day, initiated and coordinated by the John Nurminen Foundation, is celebrated every year through various events and activities. The day highlights important maritime topics and inspires concrete actions for the benefit of the Baltic Sea.
Baltic Sea Day increases awareness of the Baltic Sea’s nature, culture, and history. In 2025, Baltic Sea Day will be celebrated
on 28 August.
